Anritsu announced that the National Radio Monitoring Center Testing Center has used the wireless test platform MT8000A for 5G mobile communication terminal model approval testing.

The National Radio Monitoring Center Testing Center (hereinafter referred to as "Testing Center"), as the only national quality inspection agency in my country’s radio industry, has been focusing on testing and certification, product development, scientific research standards, industry consulting, and government support in the field of radio technology. It is one of the main inspection agencies for type approval and testing of radio transmission equipment. The cooperation in the field of 5G terminal model approval testing continues the long-term good cooperative relationship between Anritsu and the testing center in mobile terminal testing. By adopting the modularized MT8000A test platform, the testing center can effectively expand the 5G testing service capabilities.
Anritsu's 5G test solution based on the MT8000A wireless test platform has been widely adopted in a global ecosystem composed of operators, test institutions, and chip and terminal manufacturers, which can strongly support customers in the radio frequency and protocol of 5G chips and terminal products , RRM, OTA and other test requirements, can meet the 5G non-independent (NSA) and independent (SA) mode testing, and cover the FR1 (Sub-6 GHz) and FR2 (millimeter wave) frequency bands used by 5G to ensure product performance.
Anritsu will continue to cooperate with testing and certification agencies including the testing center to provide a stable and high-quality testing platform and certification system for the growth of the 5G terminal testing and certification market and the early commercialization of 5G NR communication services.

MT8000A is an integrated test platform for radio frequency, protocol, beam testing and beamforming evaluation. In addition to supporting the base station functions of SA and NSA modes required for simulating the development of 5G chipsets and terminals, it also supports the latest technologies, such as 2CC+4x4 MIMO for increasing data transmission speed in the Sub-6GHz band, and for achieving broadband 8CC+2x2MIMO of millimeter wave. In addition, it also supports the key frequency bands used in the first commercial deployment of 5G, such as the Sub-6GHz frequency band (FR1) frequency of 600MHz, 2.5GHz, 3.5GHz, and 4.5GHz and the millimeter wave frequency band (FR2) frequency of 28GHz and 39GHz.
